We all know we should pray more. So why is it so hard sometimes? Well, instead of going it alone, gather two or more friends who will pray with you. The encouragement of knowing others are praying with you for your loved ones can go ahead very long way to stimulate you to continue in prayer.
And think about the biblical account of Moses stretching his arms over the battlefield. As long as his arms were outstretched, the Israelites prevailed. But when Moses grew weary, Aaron and Hur propped up his arms as the battle raged below. We could all use some friends like that, friends who support us as we lift up our family in prayer.
