Julie, I agree that you are doing good things. And of course you pray for them. All mine live away from us. When I can be with them, my husband and I each seek to get some one-to-one time with each one. Asking questions that engage them, or playing a game with them. I ask what they want for birthdays and make sure I get it if possible. Just keep at it.

Jan, you will get some more when they publish part 2. I am not with my grands very much. When we go to visit them for a day or a week or whatever, my husband I both try (doesn’t always work) to get at least a little one-on-one time individually with each child.
