Rev. Dr. Lee Hamby is a retired Pastor after 51 years of serving as a staff pastor and Senior Pastor. He just completed a year as Interim Senior Pastor at Carlsbad Community Church, where he is currently a member.

Lee is a grandfather of four wonderful grandchildren and committed to helping other grandparents to be more intentional in their roles as grandparents.

Lee has a doctorate from The Southern Baptist Seminary, Masters from Talbot Theological Seminary, BA from Arizona Bible College. He has served in a number of denominations: Evangelical Free Church, Baptist General Conference, Conservative Baptist, North American Baptist, American Baptist, Transformation Ministries, and Conservative Congregational Christian Conference.

Lee has also been an educational consultant part time for Gospel Light Publications, David C. Cook Publishing, Scripture Press Publications and Standard Publishing. Lee also was full time Sr. Educational Consultant for David C. Cook Publishing for ten years and received the presidential citation.

Lee led youth ministries with over 700 and 800 youth and served in churches from 140 to 3000 members, God has been gracious to give me many opportunities to serve and I am committed to the Legacy Coalition  work of helping churches to expand ministry to grandparents. May we all as grandparents be praying for God to continue our legacy in future generations.
