Legacy Coalition has a great book titled: Long Distance Grandparenting. It is full of practical ideas. You can also check out previous blogs and Grand Monday Nights for episodes that covered ideas. We use zoom and marco polo with our long distance grands to see their faces and speak with them. We also send fun packages in mail with items that would be of interest to them. Often it is something we can do together, such as make a dessert or soup or craft. We each have the same supplies and do together over zoom. We have even played games like checkers or chess.
