“Once upon a time” is a wonderful way to start a story and our grandkids have an insatiable appetite for tale. So try this, sit down and page through your photo albums. As you stroll down, memory lane, tell your stories. And if you’re out of original material, draw from other sources. The library is full of books about Christian heroes that will engage your grandkid’s imagination. At the next meal, try a story salad. Just look it up. It’s fun.
The Psalm 78 said, “I will open my mouth with a parable.” We will tell the next generation, the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord. Telling your God stories will inspire your grandkids to live happily forever after.
