My Grandkids are younger, so I mail postcards with kids jokes on them, on a regular basis. I also mail small fidgets and books. I call them and read them stories holding the camera over the picture on the page. Sometimes I mail them a picture of their parent when they were little.

I see you already have the idea of sending a box.
Another thought” Sharing meals or a “cook-off” is mentioned here a few times. Perhaps a way to do that remotely would be to send a recipe and then connect on video to make the same recipe in both locations at the same time. I suppose the same thing could be done with sewing a scarf together over video.
I was on video with my granddaughter the other day and she had some questions cards (I think she got them with the kids meal at Chick-fil-A) similar to the let’s talk conversation cards in the legacy coalition store. We had a great time asking each other questions and having conversation.

I was wondering how to incorporate ideas for “remote” grandchildren.
Perhaps a few options might be to send them some leaves and then do a video call with them asking them which leaves are similar or different than the ones they have nearby. Or, maybe just discussing the variations in weather. Then, speak of the variations that God has created in nature around us.
We could also send them a box with some fall themed items.
I like the idea of memorizing a scripture with them that can be shared at Thanksgiving!
