Spending Christmas with our grandchildren can bring immense joy and added holiday stress. Everyone has expectations, and it’s not possible for everyone to get what they want.
But instead of becoming frustrated when things don’t go our way, let’s take some advice from the Apostle Paul. He reminded mature believers to look not only to their own interests, but also to the interests of others. Grandparents, be flexible, adjust your expectations, and remember, your job is to offer support for your children’s vision. And that means celebrating with old traditions and new ideas. Make the most of the time you do get to spend with your grandchildren this Christmas. And embrace no-stress grandparenting during the holidays.
