Our grandchildren have access to all kinds of information that was not available a generation ago. And while it’s helpful to have an encyclopedia at our fingertips, it’s even more important to understand that no information is neutral. It comes out of ideas, some good and some bad.
Many of the ideas transmitted to our grandchildren are assumed to be true without debate or discussion. But grandparent, you can help your grandchildren cultivate discernment. Talk to your grandkids about what they’re learning, reading, and listening to on social media. Ask them what they think and gently and consistently guide them to a Biblical worldview.
