As we age many of us become forgetful and I confess I sometimes struggle to remember the good things from the past. I think King David struggled with his memory too. He wrote in Psalm 103, “…praise the Lord, my soul and forget not all his benefits…”
So what are the benefits of a relationship with the Lord? Well, friend, there’s a forgiveness of sins, the renewing of our minds and eternal life, just to name a few. Studies show that repetition is one of the best ways to reinforce information you want to remember. So don’t forget to talk to your grandkids about the benefits of your Christian faith again and again.
