Our grandchildren are growing up in a hostile culture. God’s word is filled with promises to grow and strengthen our grandchildren’s faith. These promises are placed strategically throughout the Bible as a source of strength when we are weak, hope when we’re feeling down, and love when we need it most.
So read the Bible with your grandkids and try adding your grandchild’s name and the passage when you read it aloud. For example, God has not given Henry a spirit of fear, but of power and love and of a sound mind. When we put our hope in the promises of God, we build a legacy of faith that carries over to the next generation.
